GeJi focuses primarily on injection moulding technical products made of thermoplastics. Acetal resin, ABS/PC, PPS, PA and PP are just some examples. Advanced technical equipment is a must for maintaining the high level of service in projects, and it also ensures highest efficiency and short lead times.
We work with processor controlled equipment and use six axis- and linear robots for large serial production runs or advanced multi-component moulding. Ultrasonic welding and hot-air riveting systems allow freedom of construction and entail major advantages in the finishing process. Thanks to quick setup times, we can also carry out short production runs.
Our 44 moulding machines have a clamping force between 50 and 1300 tons.
GeJi’s customers develop high-tech products with advanced design content. They invest considerable resources in the development process, and demand solutions and production that can meet the requirements for precision and innovative thinking.
GeJi enters the development process early, contributing our specialist knowledge of plastics and all the opportunities it offers. We often work in teams with the client’s technical and creative designers. To support this process we have our own technical design department of experienced materials specialists – and they like a challenge.
“No can do” is a formulation we at GeJi prefer to avoid.
GeJi is both quality and environmentally certified. However, it’s not in the paperwork that our customers notice quality, but in our products. This is because we take a proactive approach to quality assurance both in development and production. With the aid of 3D-CAD we carry out computer simulations of the production process, produce SLA models and other prototypes.
The products are checked in our inspection room where we have systems for co-ordinate measurement, tensile strength tests and SPS analyses. In-house tool production gives us full control over the process, and in cases where we buy tools externally we work exclusively with selected suppliers. Our own tool department enables us to assure superior service and maintenance on existing tools.
A complete scope of delivery encompasses a vast range of customer services. Depending on customer requirements we can assist in the entire production and logistics chain, or just parts of it. We can assume responsibility for purchasing from subcontractors, and incorporate the components in production of units of complete products.
Our services therefore include finishing and assembly as well as packing and warehousing. Several of our global customers use us for their logistics services, including labelling systems, transport and delivery on demand.
Few decades have brought greater change to our industry than the last. A total transformation in terms of both product development and material composition means that today we can qualify as one of the strongest driving forces towards a sustainable society.
Products that need decorative or functional exterior details – such as printed text, figures, images or logos – benefit from In Mould Decoration. This entails adding the print in the form of a film into the tool in connection with the injection moulding.
The result is a product that retains its finish despite long-term wear, as the surface is resistant to scratching, chemicals and sunlight. Adjustments to the layout can easily be made during production by changing the film. Raised patterns such as Braille can also be produced.
In Mould Decoration places high demands on precision in the tool and at present GeJi is one of few Swedish suppliers in this area.
